Why we do what we do
CHJ Financial was founded by Partners, Shaun Costello and James Harrison in 2012, who were joined by Luke Bradley in 2014 and is based on the Southern Gold Coast, in Coolangatta. We service clients across the country.
With a vision to revolutionise the accounting industry by transforming the transactional relationship many clients have with their accountants, we sought to build a practice that encouraged transparency, honesty and respect.
We built CHJ Financial on a business model that fosters a clients- accountant relationship built on strategy, trust and mutual respect. From individual taxpayers, to large businesses, we care about our client’s lives. In essence, we work to achieve the best possible results for our clients and their businesses.

Meet the Co-Founders
James is the definition of an entrepreneur; an innovator, a generator of new ideas and business processes. On any and every given day he will propose a new thought about an external business opportunity or internal business growth.
The downside for his passion & enthusiasm for business is that he does not sleep, however that has not dulled his ambitions.
James is often classified as “Dad of the Year” & surprisingly this is not self-labelled. He has 4 kids with the youngest boys being twins.
He has unbridled passion for most sports. Once an accomplished football player (however his knees gave in under the weight of expectation), dabbles in a bit of boxing, cycling, surfing and the sport of kings – Horse racing.
James is a true asset to any business & I’m just privileged to have him on my team – I’m sure all his clients feel the same way.

Luke has over 12 years experience in commercial and private practice; he specialises in the areas of business consulting, taxation strategies, superannuation, entity structures and strategic planning. Luke understands modern businesses, the challenges they face and how best to help them achieve their goals.
Luke is able to advise in relation to business structures and set the appropriate strategies for the business incorporating all taxation, accounting, financial planning and compliance issues.
Away from the office you’ll either find Luke with his family, in the surf, on the golf course, watching footy or indulging in his passion for caffeine
